The Redneck Movement in Janesville, WI

In the past week or so, I've seen a white boy driving around in a big ass pickup with three (not 1, THREE) confederate flags flying from the bed. The flags are HUGE and very distracting. While surfing one of my gay male friends' MySpace page, I noticed a rather disturbing photo:



I know people are entitled to freedom of speech in this country. I'm actually GLAD about that. It gives people the right to show their true colors.

Ok, so what's most disturbing about the new redneck movement in Janesville, WI (home of the KKK group that popped Geraldo in the nose on national television, AND one of GW Bush's stops during the 2004 presidential campaign)? The people involved are very young. Look at those girls! They can't be any older than 21 (one of them is 19, I know that for sure). The young man I see driving around in his big ass pickup-with-confederate-f lags can't be any older than 25. It seems to be a movement run by young white people -- people who will affect the politics and culture in Janesville, WI.
